Assignment help for Glasgow students
Founded in 1451, the University of Glasgow is the fourth-oldest university in the English-speaking world, one of Scotland's ancient universities and a member of the Russell Group. It is organised into four colleges — arts and humanities, medical, veterinary and life sciences, science and engineering, and social sciences — centred on the Gilmorehill campus. Its marking scale is distinctive and catches out students arriving from English institutions.

Referencing styles used at Glasgow
“Harvard” is not one style. Institutions and individual schools publish their own variants, and markers notice when punctuation, ordering or the handling of online sources drifts. These are the styles Glasgow students most often bring us — send your school’s guide with the brief and we format to it from the first draft.

How marking works here
Glasgow uses a 22-point alphanumeric scale rather than raw percentages for most taught assessment: bands run from A1 at the top through B, C, D, E, F and G to H, with numbered subdivisions inside each letter, and those grades convert to grade points that are aggregated across a course. Practically, this means a single weak component pulls your aggregate more visibly than a percentage average would, and moving from a B2 to an A5 is a describable step rather than a vague push for 'a few more marks'. Each course publishes its own grade descriptors and word-count conventions in the course document, and schools set out how late work and good-cause claims are handled. As everywhere, grades are provisional until a board of examiners confirms the course result.
Whatever the scale, the practical move is the same: get hold of the criteria grid before you write. Your expert plans the work against it criterion by criterion, writes it from scratch, and annotates it with a marker’s note explaining which paragraph is doing which job.

Peak deadline periods at Glasgow
Deadlines do not arrive evenly. These are the weeks when Glasgow submissions bunch up — and when every other student in your cohort is asking for the same help at the same time.
Book a slot earlyLate November to December
semester one coursework and the December exam diet
March to April
semester two coursework, before the April/May diet
August to September
Master's dissertations and the resit diet
Book early — it is free to do so
Quotes cost nothing and nothing starts until you approve your expert, so there is no downside to reserving a slot two or three weeks out. Practically, an earlier start buys you a plan review, a draft review and time to actually learn from the work — the three things a 48-hour turnaround cannot give you at any price.
Glasgow students ask us
The three questions that come up most from University of Glasgow. Anything else, our academic co-ordinators reply in person — 24/7, 365 days a year.
Ask us anythingHow does the 22-point scale affect the way I should plan an assignment?
It rewards consistency. Because grade points aggregate, an unevenly strong essay with a weak methods section can land a whole band lower than it feels. Your expert plans and writes section by section against the descriptors so no single part is quietly dragging the grade down.
Is Scots law support different from English law support?
Materially, yes. Sources, terminology and court structure differ, so we match Scots law briefs to specialists who work in that jurisdiction rather than adapting English authorities, and every citation we provide is one you can verify.
Can you help with a Glasgow Master's dissertation on a tight summer timeline?
Yes, and staging it early matters. We usually work to a proposal-and-method checkpoint, a findings checkpoint and a full draft review, so you go into your final supervision meeting with something concrete rather than a fortnight of panic in August.
