There are no hours. This is not a job and there is no rota — you share a link when it is natural to, and a quiet term costs you nothing. Most ambassadors do this alongside a full study load.
A percentage of whatever the person you referred pays, each time they pay it. The rate starts at 10% and rises with volume: 20% once you pass 30 referrals, and 30% once you pass 100. What that adds up to depends entirely on how many people you refer and what they order, so we are not going to put a number on it — anyone showing you a screenshot of someone's earnings is selling you a story. The rate is the term; the total is up to you.
No. Referrals are unlimited per academic term, and your commission applies to every order each of them places, not only their first.
Yes. Most ambassadors start with their own cohort, but there is no restriction on which university, course or country your referrals come from.
