Assignment help in the United States

American assessment is relentless rather than difficult: weekly discussion posts, quizzes, midterms, a participation grade and a final paper, all rolled into a GPA that follows you for years. Our US-trained experts write to APA 7th, MLA 9th and Chicago, know their way around Canvas and Blackboard rubrics, and understand why a single missed submission can cost you a letter grade.

Grading

How grading works in the United States

Every piece of work your expert writes names the band it demonstrates and explains why. This is the scale your marker is working from.

Grading bands used in United States, with typical mark ranges and what each band means.
BandTypical rangeWhat it means
A / A− (4.0–3.7)90–100%Excellent. Most graduate programmes want a cumulative GPA of 3.0+, and Latin honours typically start around 3.5 (cum laude) at graduation.
B+ / B / B− (3.3–2.7)80–89%Good. A B is the usual minimum passing grade in graduate coursework — a C in a Master's class often has to be repeated.
C+ / C / C− (2.3–1.7)70–79%Satisfactory at undergraduate level. A 2.0 cumulative GPA is normally the threshold for good academic standing and financial aid.
D (1.0)60–69%Passing but usually non-transferable, and rarely accepted towards a major requirement or a prerequisite chain.
F (0.0)Below 60%Failing. Some institutions allow grade forgiveness or a repeat that replaces the original in the GPA calculation; many only average the two.

Academic calendar

When the academic year gets busy in the United States

We resource our expert pools around these peaks. Book inside a peak window and urgency pricing applies — book two weeks before one and it does not.

  1. 1

    Fall semester

    Late August – mid December

Peak deadline window: midterms in the second and third weeks of October, then finals week in the first half of December.

  2. 2

    Spring semester

    Mid January – early May

Peak deadline window: spring midterms in early March around the break, then finals in the last week of April and first week of May.

  3. 3

    Summer sessions

    May – August

Peak deadline window: continuous. Six- and eight-week intensives compress a full course, so assignments land every four or five days.

What’s different about studying in the United States

The details that trip up students who arrive from another system — and that our experts treat as the starting point rather than an afterthought.

  • 1

Length is set in pages rather than words. A page means double-spaced, 12pt Times New Roman or Arial with one-inch margins — roughly 250–275 words. A '5–7 page paper' is therefore about 1,250–1,900 words, and formatting the title page and running head correctly is part of the grade in APA.

  • 2

Integrity is handled by institutional honour codes and student conduct boards, with sector-wide guidance from the International Center for Academic Integrity. Turnitin and SafeAssign are standard, and Honorlock or Respondus proctoring is common for online quizzes — which we have no involvement with whatsoever.

  • 3

Assessment is continuous and heavily weighted towards small, frequent tasks: weekly discussion-board posts with a required number of peer replies, reading responses, lab reports, group projects and a participation component. The final paper is often worth less than the accumulated small work.

  • 4

Almost everything is due at 11:59pm local campus time through Canvas, Blackboard or Brightspace, with automatic late penalties around 10% per day and hard lockouts after the window closes. Extensions run through your instructor first, then the dean of students for documented emergencies.

Questions

Studying in the United States, answered

Specific to your system, not recycled from a generic help page. Anything missing? A real academic co-ordinator replies, day or night.

Ask us anything
My rubric says APA 7th. How current is your formatting?

Fully current, including the 7th-edition changes people still get wrong: up to twenty authors listed in the reference entry, no publisher location, 'et al.' from the first citation for three or more authors, and the simplified student title page with no running head unless your instructor asks for one. We also match whichever variant your school layers on top.

Can you help with weekly discussion-board posts as well as papers?

Yes, and it is one of our most-requested formats. Our subject specialists write full responses that show how to open with a defensible claim, cite the assigned reading properly and give peer replies something to push against. They are written as study material — read them, take the structure, then write your own in your voice.

Do you support nursing programmes with clinical documentation?

We support the written side: evidence-based practice papers, care plans, SOAP note structure, PICOT question framing, capstone proposals and DNP project chapters, referenced in APA 7th with current, peer-reviewed sources. We do not complete clinical hours, sign anything on your behalf or take part in any assessment of practice.

How does GPA affect what kind of help I should ask for?

It changes the priority. If a single low grade has dented your cumulative GPA, tutoring on the underlying concept is usually worth more than another written paper. Tell our co-ordinator where you stand and they will say plainly which of the two will move the number — even when that means recommending the cheaper option.

Academic support that fits the way the United States marks

Send your brief, your marking criteria and your referencing guide. We come back with a named expert who has written to American conventions, a milestone plan and a fixed, individually-set price. Solutions written from scratch by that expert, editing and 1-to-1 guidance — learning material, never work to submit as your own.

We staff all four mainland US time zones. There is always a co-ordinator awake for an 11:59pm Pacific cut-off, and your expert's working hours are matched to your campus clock so drafts arrive during your day, not after it.
