Assignment help for Manchester students
The University of Manchester traces its origins to the Manchester Mechanics' Institute of 1824 and took its present form in 2004, when the Victoria University of Manchester merged with UMIST. It is one of the largest single-site universities in the UK and a founding member of the Russell Group. Its schools span medicine, engineering, humanities and Alliance Manchester Business School, so assessment conventions differ noticeably between faculties.

Referencing styles used at Manchester
“Harvard” is not one style. Institutions and individual schools publish their own variants, and markers notice when punctuation, ordering or the handling of online sources drifts. These are the styles Manchester students most often bring us — send your school’s guide with the brief and we format to it from the first draft.

How marking works here
Undergraduate work is marked as a percentage against the standard UK classification bands — 70 and above for a First, 60–69 for a 2:1, 50–59 for a 2:2 and 40–49 for a Third — with taught Master's units usually passing at 50, merit at 60 and distinction at 70. What actually earns the mark is the grade-descriptor grid printed in your unit handbook, and those grids vary widely between schools: an engineering unit may weight method and accuracy, while a humanities essay is judged on argument, criticality and use of scholarship. Assessment is normally anonymous, moderated within the school and sampled by an external examiner, so a mark you receive is provisional until the exam board confirms it. Late submission and mitigating-circumstances rules are set centrally but administered by your school — read the current policy rather than relying on what a coursemate remembers.
Whatever the scale, the practical move is the same: get hold of the criteria grid before you write. Your expert plans the work against it criterion by criterion, writes it from scratch, and annotates it with a marker’s note explaining which paragraph is doing which job.

Peak deadline periods at Manchester
Deadlines do not arrive evenly. These are the weeks when Manchester submissions bunch up — and when every other student in your cohort is asking for the same help at the same time.

Late April to May
semester two coursework and the main exam period

Book early — it is free to do so
Quotes cost nothing and nothing starts until you approve your expert, so there is no downside to reserving a slot two or three weeks out. Practically, an earlier start buys you a plan review, a draft review and time to actually learn from the work — the three things a 48-hour turnaround cannot give you at any price.

Ask us anythingMy unit handbook says 'Harvard' but the library guide shows several versions. Which do I use?
Manchester does not run a single house style: schools adopt their own Harvard variant, and health disciplines often use a numeric or Vancouver system instead. Send us the referencing page of your unit handbook or a marked-up sample and we will match it exactly — punctuation, ordering and all.
Can you work to an Alliance Manchester Business School rubric?
Yes. Upload the assessment brief and the grade-descriptor grid and your expert plans and writes the answer against each criterion in turn, then returns a marker's note explaining which paragraph is doing which job. That is the fastest way to see where marks are actually awarded.
I am on an integrated Master's and the workload has doubled. Can support be staged?
It can. We split larger briefs into plan, draft and final milestones so you review each stage before the next begins — useful when a four-year integrated programme stacks a project alongside taught units. You release each milestone yourself.
Other universities we have written up
Same approach, different conventions. Each page covers referencing, marking, submission platforms and the weeks deadlines cluster.
