Assignment help for Westminster students

The University of Westminster descends from the Royal Polytechnic Institution, opened in 1838, and became a university in 1992 as the successor to the Polytechnic of Central London. It teaches from campuses on Regent Street, Marylebone, Cavendish and Harrow, with long-standing reputations in media and communications, architecture and the built environment, law and business. Its central London location means large numbers of part-time and commuting students working alongside their studies.

Referencing

Referencing styles used at Westminster

“Harvard” is not one style. Institutions and individual schools publish their own variants, and markers notice when punctuation, ordering or the handling of online sources drifts. These are the styles Westminster students most often bring us — send your school’s guide with the brief and we format to it from the first draft.

  • APA 7th

Marking conventions

How marking works here

Westminster marks on a percentage scale against the standard UK classification bands, with module handbooks setting out the criteria, weightings and word-count rules for each component. Practice-led subjects such as media production and architecture are assessed through portfolios, design work and critiques as well as written submissions, so the criteria for a single module can span very different kinds of evidence. Written work is normally submitted with similarity checking enabled, and feedback is returned against the published criteria. Late submission, mitigating circumstances and reassessment follow the university's academic regulations, and marks stay provisional until the relevant assessment board confirms them.

Whatever the scale, the practical move is the same: get hold of the criteria grid before you write. Your expert plans the work against it criterion by criterion, writes it from scratch, and annotates it with a marker’s note explaining which paragraph is doing which job.

Timing

Peak deadline periods at Westminster

Deadlines do not arrive evenly. These are the weeks when Westminster submissions bunch up — and when every other student in your cohort is asking for the same help at the same time.

Book a slot early
  1. Early to mid-January

semester one coursework and the January assessment period

  2. Late April to May

semester two coursework and end-of-year assessment

  3. August to September

    resits and postgraduate dissertation submission

  4. Book early — it is free to do so

Quotes cost nothing and nothing starts until you approve your expert, so there is no downside to reserving a slot two or three weeks out. Practically, an earlier start buys you a plan review, a draft review and time to actually learn from the work — the three things a 48-hour turnaround cannot give you at any price.

Questions

Westminster students ask us

The three questions that come up most from University of Westminster. Anything else, our academic co-ordinators reply in person — 24/7, 365 days a year.

Ask us anything
I work full-time and study part-time. How does support fit around that?

By milestones rather than one large handover. We agree checkpoints that land on your days off, keep everything in writing so nothing depends on you being free for a call, and our support desk runs around the clock.

Can you help with the written element of an architecture or media project?

Yes — the design report, the contextual research, the critical rationale and the reflective commentary. The design or production work itself is your own; we help you argue for it in the terms the criteria use.

Does the Harvard style used here differ from other universities?

In detail, yes — punctuation, ordering and the handling of online sources vary between institutional Harvard guides. Send us your school's guide and we match it exactly rather than defaulting to a generic version.
